KARACHI, March 3: Pakistan’s all the seven players in the top-100 club experience slumps in the latest world rankings announced by the Professional Squash Association (PSA) for this month on Saturday.

Mansoor Zaman falls three places to the 34th spot in the new list. This is the third consecutive month of decline for the Quetta-born player who reached the carrier-best 27th ranking last December.

Aamir Atlas, a 17-year-old from Peshawar, follows the footsteps of his senior compatriots and falls one place to 37.

The downfall of former Pakistan champion Shahid Zaman continues as he drops one spot further to 41.

Khayal Mohammad suffers the biggest blow when he reaches to 96th position after dropping ten places.

Shams-ul-Islam (88 from 80), Majid Khan (84 from 83) and Farhan Mehboob (90 from 89) are the other Pakistanis who face the music in the latest rankings.

Meanwhile, Frenchman Gregory Gaultier jumps to the career-best position of No2 and is only behind Egypt's Amr Shabana, who has completed 12 months uninterruptedly at the top.

Gaultier, leapfrogs David Palmer, the Australian who remained at No2 spot for 12 months.

France's Thierry Lincou and Egyptian teenager Ramy Ashour hold fourth and fifth places respectively.
