Three LHC judges take oath

LAHORE, March 3: Three additional judges of the Lahore High Court on Saturday took oath of their offices as confirmed judges.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Husain Chaudhry administered oath to Justice Syed Sajjad Husain Shah, Justice Tariq Shameem and Justice Syed Asghar Haider.

All the LHC judges and a number of senior lawyers with LHCBA office bearers as well as federal and provincial law officers attended the ceremony.

Now the number of confirmed judges has reached 34, although two additional judges are still working.
