Shortage of water resented

NAUSHAHARO FEROZE, Feb 21: The members of the Sindh Hari Committee (SHC) took out a rally and observed token hunger strike on Wednesday morning.

The rally, which was led by SHC district president Ghulam Fareed Kalhoro, marched on the National Highway.

The participants were raising slogans against the shortage of water.

The members went on hunger strike when the rally ended at the Jarbai petrol pump.

The protesters demanded to established the hari courts, reserve seats for haris and to relinquish the loan due to the small growers.

STRIKE: The PPP and SPSF workers took out a rally and observed token hunger strike on Wednesday for the release of Asif Zardari and withdrawal of cases against him and Benazir Bhutto.
