MULTAN, Feb 27: Three members of a family were found dead at their house in Mian Channu tehsil in Khanewal on Tuesday.

Reports said Gulzaran Bibi, a resident of Mohallah Rehmania, went to her neighbour’s house where she found all three members of the family - Lance-Naik Raheemdad Gujjar (retired), his wife Ulfat Bibi, and their son Muhammad Usman, a ninth-class student, dead.

Their milkman told the police that he had given milk on Feb 25 last and thereafter (in the next two days) no one came out to take milk.

Raheemdad was a property dealer and the family had shifted to Mian Channu six month ago from Chak No 96/12-LK. Raheemdad was a cousin of MNA Saeed Ahmad Gujjar.

The police had recovered foodstuff that was left by four people and four empty cups of tea from their house. They believed that food poisoning might be the cause of death and sent the food samples for medical examination.
