Soldier injured in blast

HANGU, Feb 22: A bomb exploded on the Parachinar-Kohat road in the Tore Ghar area near Tall on Thursday, causing minor injuries to an army man, police said.

Police said an army convoy was passing through the mountainous track when the device exploded. A soldier from the Baloch Regiment was hit by a stone triggered by the blast.

The army convoy was going from Parachinar, headquarters of the Kurram Agency, to its garrison in Tall, about 50 kilometres west of Hangu.
