HYDERABAD, Feb 22: A young woman, with a five-month pregnancy, was killed allegedly by her husband and brother-in-law in the jurisdiction of the Hussainabad police late Wednesday night.

The police have arrested both the accused. One of them was remanded to judicial custody while the other is in police custody after concerned court granted his remand.

Hussainabad police SHO Tariq Khanzada told journalists that Babu Khoso, his wife and son brought the body of Salma, 19, to the police station, alleging that she was strangulated by her husband Bhaley Dino Khoso and his brother Soomar Khoso after being declared kari.

The police arrested Bhaley Dino and Soomar. They were produced before judicial magistrate-I, who remanded the deceased's brother-in-law to judicial custody and her husband to police custody.

The heirs took the body to Matiari for burial.

Meanwhile, Anti-Terrorism Court judge Syed Ali Ashraf Shah on Thursday remanded five accused, including an absconding one, to seven-day remand in police custody in Greesh Kumar kidnapping and murder case.
