Maleeha, Anam in Islamia Open final

KARACHI, Feb 15: Maleeha Khurshid and Anam Saeed reached the girls’ Under-15 singles final of the Islamia Open table tennis tournament at the Majeed Khan Gymnasium on Thursday.

Maleeha produced a fine all-round show to defeat Samra Sawat 11-4, 11-5, 11-7 while Anam was extended fully by Abeera Ali before notching up an 11-5, 11-5, 7-11, 8-11, 11-8 win.

Meanwhile, Tabish Khurshid and Danyal Mazhar qualified for the boys’ under-12 singles final.
