TOBA TEK SINGH, Feb 13: Five robbers, including a girl, robbed the passengers of a bus on Toba-Faisalabad Road on Monday night.

Eyewitnesses told police that the robbers boarded the bus from general bus stand for Faisalabad. When the bus reached Noorpur railway station, they whipped their weapons and snatched cash, gold ornaments, mobile phone and other valuables worth more than Rs200,000 from the passengers at gunpoint.

They also tortured some of the passengers who put up resistance. They fled away in the darkness in fields at a deserted place.
