Sialkot in sight of victory

LAHORE, Feb 9: Medium-pacer Tahir Mughal captured six for 74 to put defending champions Sialkot in sight of victory against Karachi Urban in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League match at the Jinnah Stadium on Friday.

Karachi Urban, who conceded a lead of 166 on the first innings, were all out for 230 after resuming their second innings at 76 for three. Only Asif Zakir managed to carry the fight to Sialkot with a fine 62 which included 10 boundaries.

Needing only 64, Sialkot reached 27 for one at close of play on day three of the four-day tie.
