Killing of Hindu engineer condemned

Published February 10, 2007

ISLAMABAD, Feb 9: All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (Apma) has condemned the killing of Greesh Kumar, a Hindu engineer kidnapped last year in August from his flat in Hyderabad, Sindh.

Apma Chairman Shahbaz Bhatti, in a statement on Friday, said it was sad and shocking to know that he was killed ruthlessly and his decomposed body was found by the police in the industrial area of Kotri.

He said the alleged involvement of Jihadi outfits in the killing of Greesh Kumar was worrisome and had led to widespread sense of insecurity among religious minorities. “This is barbaric act of violence, which should be condemned at all levels”.
