KARACHI, Feb 9: MQM chief Altaf Hussain on Friday said that the completion of six mega projects in a short span of eight months was a great achievement on part of the city district government.

In a statement issued from London, Altaf Hussain said that with the completion of these projects the increasing traffic congestion would considerably ease and pave the way for economic development.

He said that the Haqparast leadership did not believe in lip-service but would take practical steps.

Mr Hussain added that the MQM believed in the greater national interest and its politics did not revolve around personal interests.

Altaf Hussain congratulated people, the governor of Sindh, the city nazim and his team on the inauguration of the signal-free corridor from Site to Sharea Faisal.
