KARACHI, Feb 8: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad has directed the provincial home advisor and home secretary to shift a gang rape victim, Nasiban Labano, from Ubauro to a hospital in Karachi to provide her medical aid.
He directed the police department to ensure protection to the family of the victim, an official statement said.
The governor vowed to bring the perpetrators of the crime to justice at the earliest and asked the authorities concerned to make efforts to curb such crimes.—APP
