Five killed over a piece of land

JACOBABAD, Feb 7: Five people, including two brothers, were killed over a land dispute in the Gublo area near Kandhkot on Wednesday.

Two groups of Sabzoi and Sawand clansmen clashed near Jhamdil village. In the exchange of fire, Mohammad Arif, Noor Mohammad and Malguzar from Sawand group and Arbelo and Saeedo of Sabzoi group lost their lives.

The police rushed to the site. No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

WOMAN KILLED: A woman was shot dead by her husband on the pretext of karo-kari in Achar Khan village in the jurisdiction of the Ghouspur police on Wednesday.

Nihal Khatoon was at her home when her husband shot her dead and fled.

Father of the deceased, Lahno Khan, lodged an First Investigation Report (FIR) against his son-in-law, Inayat, under section 302, Crpc, with the Ghouspur police.
