PESHAWAR, Feb 7: PPP-S provincial general-secretary Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao has said that his party will continue struggling for the rights of the people and uplift of the neglected segments of society.

He was addressing a public meeting at the Umerzai union council of the Charsadda district.

He said that the PPP had taken practical steps for the rights of Pukhtuns while other political parties had only resorted to lip-services.

Regarding arrangements for the death anniversary of former NWFP governor Hayat Mohammad Khan Sherpao, he said that it would be observed on Thursday and party workers, general public and people belonging to all walks of life would attend the public meeting.

He paid tribute to Hayat Sherpao for sacrifices which he rendered for the cause of the oppressed strata of society.—APP
