Shazia tops TT ratings

ISLAMABAD, Feb 5: The Islamabad Table Tennis Association (ITTA) on Monday rated Shazia Bibi with 18 points as the top female player for the year 2006.

According to annual rankings announced on the concluding day of the table tennis ranking championship for girls, held at the WISH University, Iqra Hafeez was declared as the second most brilliant player of the year. She scored 16 points. Tehmina Farooq was third with 15 points.

A large number of students from various schools and colleges participated in the two-day competition.—APP
