Peshawar Express to run twice daily

Published February 5, 2007

ATTOCK, Feb 4: Peshawar Express would now run twice instead of four times between Peshawar and Pindi, it has been learnt.

An official of Attock Railway station while confirming the report attributed the cut in operation to low revenue.

‘Peshawar Express’ was introduced on December 5, 2006 and it was given schedule to run four times a day between Peshawar and Rawalpindi via Attock city. But from Thursday, the train would leave Peshawar for Rawalpindi at 3pm and then Rawalpindi for Peshawar at 7pm, they said.
