Nawaz phones Jhagra

LAHORE, Jan 29: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday phoned his party’s secretary-general Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and asked him about progress in contacts regarding the multi-party conference. Jhagra told him that various parties had been asked to give their suggestions about the agenda and the joint declaration to be issued after the moot. No date has so far been set for the MPC. Leaders of the PPP and the PML-N are drafting the joint declaration. —Staff Reporter
