Asian U-14 tennis from today

ISLAMABAD, Jan 25: The International Tennis Federation (ITF) sponsored Asian Under-14 Tennis Championships (Group-II) will begin at the Islamabad Club clay courts on Friday.

Players from Malaysia, Vietnam, Nepal and Sri Lanka have already arrived in Islamabad for the championship while those from Cambodia, Bhutan, Myanmar and Bangladesh are due on Saturday.

The ITF Development Officer for Asia, Suresh Menon, will conduct the championship which will consist of two legs, to be concluded on Feb 5. Menon will also hold a two-day training camp for the championship players.

The championship features individual singles and doubles events for both boys and girls.—APP
