DADU, Jan 24: A large number of people staged a demonstration outside the office of the taluka municipal administration here on Wednesday to protest against failure of drainage, water supply and sanitation systems in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Dadu City Union Council No.4 member Liaquat Soomro said the drainage, sanitation and water supply system had failed in the area because of negligence of municipal officials, causing spread of various diseases.
SPSF leader Gul Hassan Panhwar alleged that the sanitation staff was not performing its duties properly.
