Two banks announce profit rates

KARACHI, Jan 22: The First Women Bank Ltd has announced profit rates on various types of PLS deposits for the half year ended Dec 31. Special Notice Time Deposits: Seven days (3.25pc); 30 days (3.50pc).

PLS Saving: for deposits up to Rs4,999 (2.00pc); for deposits of Rs5,000 to Rs49,999 (2.50pc); for deposits of Rs50,000 to 99,999 (3.00pc); for deposits of Rs100,000 and above (3.50pc).

Women PLS Savings: for deposits up to Rs4,999 (2.50pc); for deposits of Rs5,000 to 49,999 (3.00pc); for deposits of Rs50,000 to 99,999 (3.50pc); for deposits of Rs100,000 and above (4.00pc).

Students Savings: for deposits up to Rs4,999 (2.00pc); for deposits of Rs5,000 to 49,999 (2.50pc); for deposits of Rs50,000 to 99,999 (3.00pc); for deposits of Rs100,000 and above (3.50pc).

Hyper Profit Scheme: for deposits below Rs100,000 (NIL); for deposits of Rs100,001 to Rs9,999,999 (2.00pc); for deposits of Rs10,000,000 to Rs99,999,999 (2.50pc); for deposits of Rs100,000,000 to Rs499,999,999 (3.00pc); for deposits of Rs500,000,000 to Rs999,999,999 (3.50pc); for deposits of Rs1,000,000,000 and above (3.50pc).

Term deposits: Three months (2.25 pc); Six months (2.50pc); one year (3.00pc); two years (3.50pc); three years (4.00pc); four year (4.50pc); five year (5.00pc), says a press release.

Mybank: The Mybank profit rates are as follows:

Special Notice Deposit Account: Seven to 29 days (3.00pc); 30 days 7-29 days and over (3.25pc).

Mahana Amdani Account: One month (4.50pc); three months (5.00pc); six months (5.75pc); one year (6.25pc); two years (6.75pc); three years (7.25pc); four years (7.75 pc); five years (8.25pc).

Term Deposit Regular: One month (5.50pc); three month (6.00 pc); six month (6.75pc); one year (7.25pc); two years (7.75pc); three years (8.25pc); four years (8.75pc); five years (9.25pc).

PLS Saving Account: Up to Rs5,000 (NIL); Rs5,001 to Rs50,000 (2.50); Rs50,001 to Rs100,000 (3.00); Rs100,001 to Rs,1,000,000 (3.75); Rs1,000,001 to Rs10,000,000 (4.75); Rs10,000,001 and above (5.00), says a press release.
