PESHAWAR: Police official promoted

PESHAWAR, Jan 20: The Deputy Inspector General (Investigations), Syed Akhtar Ali, has been promoted to grade 20, according to an official handout issued on Saturday. The notification was issued following a clearance from the Central Selection Board. Mr Ali is a recipient of the Quaid-i-Azam Police Medal and the President’s Police Medal. He has worked on police reforms and juvenile justice.
