KASUR, Jan 18: Kasur police claimed to have arrested eight alleged gamblers, including a proclaimed offender and an agriculture officer, from the agriculture office in Chunian. Police said they received information that PO Muhammad Dawood had taken shelter in the office of Agriculture Officer Muhammad Younas. A police party raided the office and arrested Dawood who was busy in gambling along with Younas and others. Police also impounded Rs72,000 stake money. Chunian police have registered a case.
