Nine members of two gangs arrested

LAHORE, Jan 18: Batapur and Shahdara Town police claimed on Thursday to have arrested nine members of two gangs and seized looted valuables and illegal weapons from their possession.

A team, headed by the Manawan SPO, arrested Sohna Masih, Ramzan, Imran, Hanif and Jehangir of the Sohna gang and recovered 13 cell phones and illegal weapons from them.

Another team, led by the Shahdara SPO, nabbed Sajid alias Saju, Shahbaz, Nawaz and Farooq of the Saju car-lifters gang and seized four cars, a motorcycle, three CNG kits, electronic goods and illegal weapons from them. —Reporter
