CBR to hold quarterly moot from 22nd

ISLAMABAD, Jan 13: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) will hold the third round of its quarterly conference to review the performance of collectorates and commissionerates during the current fiscal year.

An official announcement issued here on Saturday said the conferences, commencing on Jan 22, would review the performance of the second quarter of (October-December), of the current financial year.

The meetings will also discuss strategy for achieving revenue targets during the third and fourth quarters and review of follow-up actions in the decisions taken in the conferences held in November last.

Quarterly conference of collectors of customs and collectors of appeals will be held on Jan 22, collectors of sales tax and collectors (appeals) on Jan 23 and conference of regional commissioners of income tax, director generals of large taxpayers units (LTUs), commissioners of income tax and commissioners (appeals) on Jan 24.
