PESHAWAR, Jan 12: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has sought support from all segments of the society for settling the net hydel profit issue in accordance with the award announced by arbitration tribunal.

He was talking to a delegation of the newly elected office-bearers of the Peshawar Press Club here on Friday, said a handout.

Mr Durrani regretted that the award announced by the arbitration commission was wilfully delayed by Wapda that would add to the sense of depravation of the Frontier province.

Referring to the demand for a residential colony for journalists, he assured the delegation that it would be taken up on priority basis and directed the quarters concerned to identify a suitable site for the proposed colony.
