PESHAWAR, Jan 11: Bodies of four people who were killed in coalition forces’ action in Afghanistan on Thursday, were brought to Miramshah in North Waziristan Agency, sources said.

The action took place in Bermal district of Afghanistan which is adjacent to Angoor Adda, a border town in South Waziristan Agency.

The dead and some of the injured belonged to the tribal region, said the sources, but failed to confirm if they were combatants.

While the bodies were shifted to the tribal region and buried, the injured were admitted to a local hospital, they said.

A source in the tribal area believed that the number of injured people might be 20 to 25 as some of the seriously-injured people were also shifted to Peshawar.
