2 farmers kidnapped near Kashmore

JACOBABAD, Jan 11: Two farmers were kidnapped from Mevo Bughio village in the Badani area of Kashmore district on Thursday. Ranjho Bhutto and Bhagio Bhutto were present at their tube-well when seven armed people reached there and kidnapped them.

Meanwhile, two cousins were killed in a road accident on the Indus highway in the jurisdiction of the Kashmore police on Thursday.

Niaz Khoso and Alam Khoso were going to Dakhan Bungalow from Kashmore on a motorcycle. A jeep coming from opposite direction hit their motorcycle as a result they died on the spot. The jeep driver fled from the scene, leaving behind his vehicle which was impounded by the police.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

In Jacobabad, a man was killed near the Civil Hospital over old enmity.

Shahzado was going somewhere when two motorcyclists opened fire at him. As a result, he died on the spot.

The Civil Lines police reached the spot and cordoned off the area but the killers fled.

In another incident, a man, Mohammad Usman, was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Suhail Korejo village in the jurisdiction of the Abad police. The police have registered an FIR.
