Women’s team for South Africa

LAHORE, Jan 9: Led by Urooj Mumtaz Khan, a 14-member Pakistan women team will leave for South Africa on Sunday to play five one-day match series till Jan 30. All the matches will be played in Pretoria.

Sana Mir is the vice-captain while Batool Fatima and Arman Khan are wicket-keepers.

The team will start the tour with a warm-up match at Laudium ground on Jan 17. The first ODI will be played on Jan 20 at the same ground. Harlequins Oval, ground is the venue of the second match on Jan 22.

The third and fourth match will be held at Sinovich Park, on Jan 24 and 26. The last match is scheduled to be held at Harlequins Oval, on Jan 28. The team will return back home on Jan 30.

Team: Urooj Mumtaz Khan (captain), Sana Mir (vice-captain), Taskeen Qadeer, Bismah Maroof, Sajida Shah, Sana Javed, Batool Fatima (wicketkeeper), Asmavia Iqbal, Qanita Jalil, Maryum Butt, Sabahat Rasheed, Sumaiya Siddiqui, Nain Abdi, Arman Khan (wicketkeeper).
