KARACHI, Jan 5: The Pakistan Muslim League-F chief, Pir Pagara, has assured journalists that he would speak to Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim regarding their problems and ask him to help resolve them.

Pir Pagara, also assured them that when ever he would meet President General Pervez Musharraf, he would speak to him on the media’s behalf regarding the transfer of Karachi Press Club’s lease to journalists .

Pir Pagara, who is the spiritual leader of Hur Jamaat gave these assurances on Friday when a delegation of newly elected office bearers of Karachi Press Club called on him at his residence. The KPC President Sabihuddin Ghausi and Secretary Imtiaz Faran led the team

The delegation informed the PML-F chief about their problems It also informed him about the delay in transfer of lease of the KPC premises in the press club’s name which was gifted to journalists by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation in 1997 on Pakistan’s golden jubilee. — Staff Reporter
