HYDERABAD, Jan 3: The brother-in-law of film star Mustafa Qureshi, Kareem Bukhsh, was killed in a road accident on Monday while he was on his way to distribute meat in the jurisdiction of the Sakhi Pir police station.

He was hit by a speedy motorcyclist near the police station and taken to the civil hospital where he died. People of the area caught hold of the motorcyclist, identified as Asif, and handed him over to the police.

BODY RECOVERED: The Husri police recovered the body of a man from a drain on Tuesday after he was killed during a fight with his friend.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Mohammad Sharif Panhwar, son of Mohammad Yousuf Panhwar, resident of Husri.

During investigation, the deceased's family members said that Sharif had gone somewhere with his friend Mohammad Saleem Panhwar on Eid day.

The police picked up Saleem from his house. He told police that he and Sharif had drunk whisky. Thereafter, Sharif tried to subject him to sodomy and he resisted. During the ensuing fight, Sharif was killed and he threw the body into the drain.
