Food street closed for three days

LAHORE, Dec 29: Gowalmandi Food Street will remain closed for three days from Jan 1 in view of Eidul Azha. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the food street traders held here on Friday with Khwaja Shakeel in chair.

FINE: The City District Government Lahore food squad has imposed fines totaling Rs1,71,000 on 44 restaurants and tea stalls for violation of Pure Food Ordinance bylaws.

The fine tickets were issued to the owners after the kitchens of restaurants and tea stalls were not found neat and clean in accordance with the provisions of the food law.
