Landlord’s house looted

SHEIKHUPURA, Dec 26: Eight masked men looted the house of a landlord at village Dhamke, some 40km away from here in the jurisdiction of Sharaqpur Sharif police station, on Tuesday. Reports said the accused forced their entry into the house of Shafiq, and made off with cash, ornaments, cell phones and other valuables.

BURN VICTIMS: Two teenagers died from serious burns when a gas heater fell on them at Ahmadpur Virkan on GT Road, some 50km away from here, on Tuesday.

Reports said Ali Hamza and Bilal, sons of labourer Lal Din, were sitting beneath a gas heater which was fixed in the wall.

Suddenly, it fell on them as a result of which they suffered serious burns and died later on. The boys were alone at home. Sadoke police were investigating.
