THATTA: Criminal assault on boy

Published February 18, 2002

THATTA, Feb 17: A boy, Mushtaque, 14, was forcibly taken away and sodomised by seven men in a government school here on Saturday.

The boy was going to a local saloon shop to take a bath, when a man, Mohram Baghal, and his accomplices took him to the government primary school, where he was criminally assaulted by them.

On his hue and cry the school peon was laughing and paid no heed towards him.

The boy told newsmen that he managed to escape, by kicking two persons. When he reached the police station, the SHO asked him not to lodge an FIR and told him that it would be difficult for him to attend routine court dates and took his thumb impression on a white paper.

The boy said that Mohram Baghal was forcing him to have sexual relations with him.
