Two killed, four hurt in accident

SUKKUR, Dec 24: Two people died and four others, including the DCO of Kashmore, received injuries in an accident on the Indus Highway near Kandhkot on Sunday. According to reports, the DCO of Kashmore, Abid Hussain Shah, along with his gunman and driver, was on his way to Kashmore from Kandhkot.

When their car reached near Kandhkot bypass, it collided head-on with another car coming from the opposite direction and as a result all the six occupants of both the cars were injured and shifted to a private hospital in Kandhkot.

Those injured included the DCO of Kashmore Abid Hussain Shah, his driver Mohammad Ayub Suhriani and gunman Bashir Ahmed Malik, while occupants of the other car included Ghulam Mohammad Golo, his sons Mohammad Younus 25, and Zeeshan 2. Later, Ghulam Mohammad Golo and his son Mohammad Younus succumbed to their injuries. Ghulam Mohammad Golo was said to be the cousin of Sardar Mohammad Salah Golo.

In-charge and District Police Officer (DPO) of Kashmore also confirmed the deaths.

According to an eyewitness account the accident left both the vehicles completely damaged.

However, no case was registered till filing of this report.
