Inter-club event from today

KARACHI, Dec 23: Five matches will be played on the opening day of the NBP-KCCA Inter Club Cricket Championship here on Sunday (today).

Around 148 clubs, representing seven zones of the Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA), are featuring in the competition which carries prize money of Rs.50, 000.Punjab Cricket Club will take on Korangi select at Punjab Ground, Tariq Gymkhana will be up against NN Eaglets at Tariq Gymkhana Ground, Gulshan-e-Maymar will clash with City Gymkhana at Maymar Ground, Union Sports will lock horns with Korangi Star Cricket Club at Landhi Gymkhana while Jinnah Cricket Club will face Ghauri Cricket Club at the Jinnah CC Ground on the first day of the championship here today.—APP
