ISLAMABAD Dec 22: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz would lead the Pakistani delegation to Ashgabat to participate in the funerals of Turkmen president Niyazov on Sunday.

President Niyazov died of heart attack in the Turkmen capital on Thursday. In a brief chat with newsmen here on Friday the prime minister said that Pakistan gives great importance to Turkmenistan which had very cordial relations with it and president Niyazov had also visited Islamabad.—Staff Reporter
