LAHORE, Dec 21: Two people were killed and six others, including four schoolchildren, injured in three separate road accidents in the city on Thursday. A youngster died while a minor girl and a car driver sustained injuries in a head-on collision between two cars near Raja Market in Garden Town.

Residents of Ahmad Block, Zain Waheeduddin, 12, died on the spot, while his sister Maheen Anjum, 5, and driver Anwar, 30, sustained injuries.

The injured were rushed to Jinnah Hospital where Anwar was stated to in critical condition.

A man was crushed to death by a speeding bus in the Islampura area.

Police said Khadim Husain, 40, of Faisalabad was going on a motorcycle on Bund Road when a bus hit him, leaving him dead on the spot.

INJURED: A rickshaw driver and four schoolchildren were injured when a bus hit the three-wheeler on Raiwind Road.

Injured driver Ishaq, 29, Sumaira, 16, Umer, 11, Aqeel, 6, and Tariq, 5, were admitted to Jinnah Hospital.
