Two more bludgeoned to death

LAHORE, Dec 19: Unidentified killers killed two people in the Factory Area in early hours of Tuesday. Gardner Zahoor Ahmed, 40, and watchman Rehmat Ali, 45, were asleep at Muhammad Din Nursery owned by Ishtiaqul Haq on Walton Road when the killers with a blunt object hit them in the head. They died on the spot.

Zahoor belonged to Okara while Rehmat was a resident of Kasur. The former joined the nursery a month ago while the latter had been working for a year.

Rehmat’s brother-in-law Shaukat was the first person who found them dead.

A case was registered against the unidentified killer(s) on the complaint of Shaukat.

On Dec 17, unidentified people clubbed and injured a couple in B-Block, Township, 7 when they were asleep at a rented house.

A serial killer(s) has so far killed 10 people while over two dozen injured in Kot Lakhpat and Cantonment divisions.

The Cantonment SP said the police were investigating along different lines.
