CHAKWAL, Dec 16: A doctor was allegedly abducted from village Mureed in the area of Saddar Police Station.
The brother of the doctor, Sadaqat Ali resident of village Bikhari Kalan told Saddar Police that his brother Doctor Shakeel was on his way to his home in village Bikhari Kalan but he never reached and his car was found near village Mureed and registration book of the car was also missing. He was convinced that he was abducted.
Police had registered a case and started searching for the accused and the abducted doctor.
SHOP LOOTED: Cloths valuing Rs300,000 and Rs70,000 in cash were looted from a shop on Hospital Road in the small hours of Saturday.
The owner of the shop Noor Khan came to his shop on Saturday morning and found the locks were broken and the cash and the cloths were stolen. The matter was reported to City Police.—Correspondent
