HANGU: Government employees freed

HANGU, Dec 16: Police on Saturday claimed to have recovered the four employees of the Works and Services Department, kidnapped from Mamo Town, west of Hangu, on Thursday.

Sub-engineers Mohammed Nawaz and Saifur Rehman, SDO Iftikhar-ud-Din Afzal and driver Mohammed Asif were on their way to Hangu from Dalen, when they were kidnapped.

Announcing the recovery, a press release said that the police were still searching for the vehicle in which the four persons were travelling at the time of their abduction.

However, the press release did not specify the place of recovery.
