Under-trial shot dead

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Dec 15: An under-trial prisoner was shot dead by his rival outside the Rajanpur sessions court on Friday. Abdul Karim Gurchani, a resident of Umar Kot, was being tried for murder.

He was shot dead on Thursday by Allah Ditta Gurchani when he was being brought by police for court proceedings.

Rajanpur police claimed that after killing Abdul Karim, Allah Ditta courted arrest.

DEMO: A protest demonstration was held here on Thursday in Taunsa Sharif for arrest of MPA Mir Badshah Qaisrani for his alleged abetment in a dual murder.

A father and son were killed in Taunsa Sharif a few months ago. A guard of the MPA and his accomplice were accused of killing them. The complainant accused that MPA Mir Badshah was also involved in the killings.
