KARACHI, Dec 14: World Health Update 2007, a mega event on health issues, will be held at Expo Center Karachi from January 26 to 28, 2007 in which over 9,000 health experts would participate and all three faculties – medical, dental and nursing – are working hard for its success.

This was informed by Dr Mohammad Ali Shah who led a delegation of the organising committee to meet City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal at his office on Thursday.

Mr Kamal consented to extend city government’s assistance to make this event successful. He advised the organisers to coordinate with the city government’s health committee to establish a public-private relationship for the prosperity of the masses.

He assured Dr Mohammad Ali Shah, patron, and chairman of the conference Dr Naveed Rashid that the city government would warmly welcome the foreign delegates.

The nazim also asked EDOs community development and health departments to cooperate with the organisers.

NEW EDO: A senior officer of City District Government Karachi Masood Alam on Thursday took the charge of Municipal Services Group of Offices as EDO.
