KARACHI, Dec 13: City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that people would benefit from the city government’s gazette as its next issue would have details of amenity plots, leased plots with the names of their actual owners, properties owned by the city government, city’s master plan and schedule of establishment.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, the city nazim pointed out that the CDGK was the only city district government in the country that was bringing out an official gazette.

He said its first gazette had comprised six parts – notifications regarding organisational matters; sub-rules approved by City Council; taxes/fees levied by the City Council; all approved resolution of the City Council; matters relating the group of offices of the CDGK; and all matters dispatched by the city government.

The nazim directed the authorities concerned to incorporate all details of amenity plots in the gazette so that no one could indulge in wrongdoings. He said details of those parts of lands that have been leased by the city government would also be incorporated in the gazette to avoid a risk of forgery.

He said that details of all the properties owned by the city government, including markets, shops, etc., would be incorporated in the next gazette whereas the master plan, which was now in its final stage, would also be added to its contents once approved by the City Council.
