DADU, Dec 8: A large number of people took out two protest rallies here on Friday against the taluka municipal administration for failure of drainage system, sanitation and water supply.

Demonstrating in front of the Press club, they said that due to negligence of TMA officials, the drainage system of old and new bus stands, Brohi colony, Soomro colony, Railway Line area and Chhano Shahabad, has collapsed where nullahs were overflowing but the officials were not paying proper attention to over come the situation.

As a result of failure of drainage system in the city, different diseases have also spread. They complained that water supply and sanitation systems had also failed.—Correspondent
