New equipment for hospital

MARDAN, Dec 5: New X-ray and ultrasound machines, donated to the Mardan District Headquarters Hospital by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Gen Ihsanul Haq, are likely to come into operation in the next two months.

The old machines are being replaced as per the request made to Gen Ihsanul Haq during his recent visit to Mardan. Talking to Dawn, Dr Teri Khan, an employee of the hospital, said the X-ray and ultrasound machines were being installed and these would be available to patients by the end of the month.—Correspondent
