ISLAMABAD, Dec 4: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Monday said that the invaluable services rendered by the successive generations of Aga Khan family both during the struggle for independence and also after the creation of Pakistan were a testimony to their commitment, love for and faith in Pakistan.

Talking to Prince Karim Aga, the Prime Minister said that the Prince Aga Khan’s contribution in setting up centres of excellence in the field of education and health care would go a long way in improving the quality of education and health in Pakistan.

He particularly appreciated the efforts made by the Prince Aga Khan for promotion of tourism in Pakistan. The Prime Minister said Pakistan was keen to tap its vast potential of tourism and is taking various steps to promote it by creating the necessary infrastructure in the form of hotels, motels, roads and transport.
