PESHAWAR, Dec 4: The NWFP Minister for Information, Asif Iqbal Daudzai, has said the teaching community of the province will soon get teaching allowance. He was speaking at a luncheon hosted in his honour by the Azad Group of teachers in the Bukhshi Pul Daudzai Primary School.

The minister announced the upgradation of the Bakhshi Pul Primary School to middle school level on the occasion.

The minister also gave away prizes to Mohammad Hanif of the Swat Higher Secondary School, Peer Muhammad Londkhwar of the Government Sentimental Model School, Peshawar, Abdul Haleem Sherazi (the former EDO of Peshawar), and Khwaja Naik Alam, the retired principal of Jogiwara School. — Correspondent
