NAWABSHAH: Canal breach damages crops

NAWABSHAH, Dec 4: A 20-feet wide breach occurred in Doulatpur minor, Dad irrigation division near Chhar village on Monday. As a result of the reach, the gushing water inundated the wheat and vegetables crops. No other loss was reported. The villagers plugged the breach.

Meanwhile, another 20-feet wide breach occurred in Deewan minor, near Wakil village, 60-miles on Monday.

It damaged houses of Haji Ali Madad, Mohammad Usman, Mir Hassan, Mir Alam, Ghulam Hussain and Ghulam Nabi and others as well as the nearby sugarcane and wheat crops.
