DADU, Nov 29: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) officials picked up two junior clerks of the excise and taxation department, Dadu, finding money taken as bribe in their possession here on Wednesday.

The raid was conducted by a team of ACE officials, which was led by circle officer Mohammad Azam Baloch, along with judicial magistrate Tahir Hussain Abro.

The team raided the excise and taxation office and arrested the junior clerks, Mohammad Khan Chandio and Abdul Latif Rahpoto, and seized Rs2,300 which they had received as bribe from one Sajan Panhwar for registration of motorcycle.

Their third accomplice, inspector Asghar Shah, however, managed to escape.

The ACE also registered an FIR against them.
