NEW DELHI, Nov 27: The foreign ministers of India and Pakistan, meeting over a private lunch here on Monday, decided to hold their formal review of the third round of composite dialogue between the representatives of their countries in Islamabad in January.

The third round had recently wound up with the meeting of the foreign secretaries of both countries in New Delhi.

Kasuri and his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee said the fourth round of the composite dialogue would start in February when Indian Foreign Secretary Shiv Shnkar Menon would visit Islamabad.

13 when he will also extend an invitation to President Gen Pervez Musharraf for SAARC summit here in April.

After about 90-minute meeting, Mr Mukherjee said the meeting was informal as Mr Kasuri was not on an official visit.

Mr Mukherjee said "substantive talks" will be held when he travelled to Pakistan.

The last foreign ministerial level talks were held in October 2005 when Natwar Singh went to Pakistan at the end of second round of composite dialogue.

Mr Kasuri said Mr Mukherjee and he realised the importance of the relations between the two countries and felt the need to develop trust between the two countries. "We both agreed that India-Pakistan relations are very important. We need to develop trust," Mr Kasuri said.
